The Armed Forces Big Day – MK Dons v Bolton Wanderers
Serving members of the Armed Forces will be able to attend MK Dons’ home match with Bolton Wanderers in February for free as part of the club’s Armed Forces Big Day.
The event, which will take place when MK Dons host Bolton on Saturday 4 February, will see all serving members of the Armed Forces able to snap up their complimentary ticket.
The day will see a guard of honour pre-match and a half-time parade giving supporters of both teams the opportunity to show their appreciation of the work that the forces have done and continue to do.
As part of the commemoration, the Club will be supporting Blesma with a bucket collection pre-match. Blesma supports injured veterans like Mark Smith to lead independent and fulfilling lives by providing welfare support, prosthetic support and an activities programme.
This support lasts a lifetime for injured veterans and their families.
Mark will be the matchball carrier. The Afghanistan veteran lost his leg at the hip after being shot through the leg and shoulder during a live fire training exercise in Canada. While going through rehabilitation at Headley Court, Mark found peace in the gym which helped spur on his recovery both physically and mentally.
This offer is also available to Bolton supporters. Fans wishing to take up this offer must be able to provide proof of military ID when booking and collecting tickets.
Family members, Veterans and Cadets will be able to purchase tickets at the following prices: Adults £15, Over-65s £12 and U18s £7.
Armed Forces day tickets can be redeemed from MK Dons Box Office at Stadium MK/MK Dons kiosk at centre:mk or by calling 0333 200 5343.
