Kettering Air Cadets Intake Evening

If you’re a fan of action and adventure, love sports and getting to know people then you’re in the right place. Every year nearly 60,000 Air Cadets and volunteer staff take part in exciting events all over the country. And with over 1,000 squadrons across the UK, you could be one of them.

Ever fancied learning to fly a light aircraft or maybe taking a ride in a Chinook helicopter? If you’re a fan of aviation, action and adventure, love sports and getting to know people then Kettering Air Cadets is the place for you!

Over 60 cadets regularly attend the Squadron on Northampton Road and take part in activities ranging from aviation training, flying, gliding, shooting, sports and radio communications training. You could have the opportunity to study for a BTEC qualification in aviation studies, public services or music and take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards Scheme.

If you have a sense of adventure why not take part in one of our annual camps? You will get the chance to visit RAF stations across the UK and overseas, live like serving RAF personnel and test your skills during night exercises and day time adventures.

We’re always on the look out for new cadets at 1101 (Kettering) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets. So, if you’re aged between 12 (year 8) and 17 and keen to find out more, come along to the Squadron or phone: 01536 481999. The Squadron meets every Monday and Wednesday from 7pm.
