CORBY AIR CADETS RAISE FUNDS FOR THE RAFA WINGS APPEAL

Air Cadets from 422 (Corby) Squadron have joined forces with the Corby Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) Branch to collect donations for the RAFA Wings Appeal.

The Cadets, who took to Corby and Oundle town centre on Saturday 20 September 2014 managed to raise almost £670 for the appeal for which the RAFA branch were very thankful.

The Wings Appeal helps to raise funds to support serving and ex-RAF personnel alongside their families when they are in need.

The event also coincided with Commanding Officer, Flight Lieutenant Kev Ritchie RAFVR (T) presenting the Chairman of Corby RAFA with a cheque for £72.50 which was raised during the Squadron’s recent annual BBQ.
