DRAYCOTT ARMY CADETS NEED YOU!

A new Army cadet group will open its doors to new recruits at their opening evening next month.

The open event will be a chance to find out more about the Army Cadet Force and what activities and adventures it could offer.

Map & CompassTake part in Map & Compass exercisesWant to learn to kayak? March like a soldier? Qualify as a first aider? Complete a Duke of Edinburgh award? Train in fieldcraft? Learn to read a map?

The list above is just a start as well as becoming more confident and a team leader whilst making friends for life!

The Cadets welcome boys and girls, aged 12 and upwards (young people must be in year 8 or above at school).

The open evening will be held at the Cadet Centre, Leisure Green, New Street, Off Derby Road (Behind Draycott Fish Bar), Draycott, DE72 3NJ on Tuesday 3rd March 2015 at 7pm.

Army Cadets are always looking for new Adult Volunteers aged 18+ who want to learn new skills and pass them onto our young people – contact us on the number below for details.

Can’t make it? Don’t worry! We will be open every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm – 9pm.
