A thriving Lincoln based IT company has been awarded for supporting the Armed Forces community.

LCS IT Solutions is a fast growing private sector company which provides IT support and solution for businesses and schools in Lincolnshire.

The company works remotely as a virtual IT department providing flexible and responsive support which is both high-quality and affordable.  They have received a Silver Employer Recognition Scheme Award for demonstrating their commitment to Defence at a presentation event held at their offices on High Street, Washingborough.

Anthony Bryant, LCS IT Solutions Managing Director, said: “We are proud to support the Armed Forces community and understand the benefits that employing reservists can bring to a business like ours such as organisational abilities, communication skills and problem solving. We are delighted to be presented with the silver award and proud to be one of only 11 employers across the East Midlands to receive this award.”

Currently employing a Royal Air Force Reservist, the organisation signed the Armed Forces Covenant in May last year pledging to support reservists, veterans and service leavers and to provide flexible leave for spouses of military families.

John Wilson, East Midlands Regional Employer Engagement Director, said: “LCS IT Solutions is a small company employing just nine people and we are delighted that the business has demonstrated its support for Defence personnel. The company supported their reservist employee during and after two periods of mobilised service and they recognise the positive transferable skills that being a member of the Reserve Forces can bring to the civilian workplace.”

The silver award certificate was presented to LCS IT Solutions on Tuesday 23 February. The company are one of 11 East Midlands’ employers to have received an Employer Recognition Scheme silver award in 2015.
