Lincolnshire-based IT company to be awarded

A thriving Lincoln based IT company is set to be awarded for supporting the Armed Forces community.

LCS IT Solutions, a fast growing private sector company, is to receive a Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award for demonstrating their commitment to the Armed Forces community. The presentation will take place on Tuesday 23 February 2016 at their offices on High Street, Washingborough.

One of LCS’ employees is a Royal Air Force Reservist and the organisation signed the Armed Forces Covenant in May 2015, pledging to support reservists, veterans and service leavers and to provide flexible leave for spouses of military families.

John Wilson, East Midlands Regional Employer Engagement Director, said: “On behalf of the MOD, Lieutenant Colonel David Dawber will present the Employer Recognition scheme Silver Award to LCS IT Solutions at their Lincoln office. We are grateful for the support that LCS has shown to their Reservist employee and this award from the MOD rightly acknowledges that support.”
