Nottingham-based security business is awarded

A Nottingham-based security organisation has received an award for supporting the Armed Forces Community.

CE Security, based on Riverside Business Park, has received a Silver Employer Recognition Scheme Award for demonstrating their commitment to Defence.

Providing a range of services including manned guarding; lone worker support and event security, CE Security currently employs two Reservists from the Army and the Royal Air Force.

CE Security team with their silver award_press releaseThe company qualified for the Silver award by, among other things, employing Defence personnel (reservists in their case) and publicly pledging to support the Armed Forces community through the Corporate Covenant.

Earl Knight, Commercial Director and Head of Human Resources at CE Security, said: “As a business we are proud to support reservists and ex-service personnel and it is truly an honour that CE Security has been recognised for this; we are pleased and proud to have received the silver award”.

John Wilson, East Midlands Regional Employer Engagement Director, for the Ministry of Defence, said: “CE Security has demonstrated support for their reservist employees by creating a specific HR policy, and showing flexibility towards their training commitments.

“I would like to thank CE Security for their commitment and look forward to working with them on their pledge to support reservists, military service-leavers and veterans; military spouses and partners and cadet organisations.”

On Thursday 26 November at Riverside Business Park, Nottingham, the  Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award certificate was presented to the Commercial Director and Head of Human Resources by Lieutenant Colonel David Dawber from the Army’s regional headquarters.

CE Security is one of 11 East Midlands’ employers to have received an Employer Recognition Scheme Silver award this year.
