Work continues on the rebuilding of Hinckley Cadet Centre

Up to 80 young people and adult volunteers will be able to use the centre at one time.
Work began on site in November

Cadets are meeting at local education facilities while the work is ongoing
It is being developed to include the latest technologies
It is hoped the work will be completed by autumn 2017
It will be used by the 198 (Hinckley) Squadron of the Air Training Corps and the Hinckley detachment of the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland Army Cadet Force
It will include interactive classrooms, a radio room and a training hall
LNR ACF and Hinckley Air Cadets are looking forward to moving in
The floor will soon be going in to the new building
The new building is replaced the 1920s former property
The steel work is now in place
