Private Catalina Bucur, originally from Romania, recently attested as an Army Reservist. The ceremony was the first attestation at 4 (Lincolnshire) Company to take place under Covid-secure conditions. Catalina is also unique in being the first non-British female soldier to join the unit.

Army Cadet sisters awarded consecutive Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet positions

Sisters Tegan and Cerys Aplin, of North Hykeham Army Cadet Force, Lincs, have achieved something quite unique by being awarded the highly esteemed position of Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet, in consecutive years. In a virtual investiture held on Zoom, the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Toby Dennis, welcomed Cerys and thanked Tegan for her service.
