New campaign: Be More with the Army Cadets

Be More with the Army Cadets

With their new recruitment message, the Army Cadets invite everyone to step away from their screens and engage in real-world activities that foster personal growth and development.

The Army Cadets provide a refreshing alternative to the digital lifestyle. With their new recruitment message, ‘Be More with the Army Cadets,’ they invite everyone to step away from their screens and engage in real-world activities that foster personal growth and development.

The Army Cadets offer an escape from the ‘gamer’s lifestyle’ and the constant scrolling through social media. Instead, as highlighted in their new promo video, the Army Cadets provide opportunities to step away from the screen and explore creative talents, develop new skills, and undertake unparalleled experiences.

Whether you are naturally outdoorsy or not, the Army Cadets have something to offer for everyone, regardless of interests and passions. Here are some ways you can ‘Be More’ with the Army Cadets:

  • Be More Independent: Learning to be self-sufficient when learning to clean your boots, iron your uniform or keep yourself, clean, dry and fed when doing fieldcraft teaches invaluable life skills.
  • Be More Resilient: Facing and overcoming challenges helps build resilience and confidence. Things may not always go how you want but gaining the skills to turn that around and push to achieve again.
  • Be More Social: Spending time with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities fosters strong social connections.
  • Be More of a Leader: Develop leadership skills through structured training and real-world responsibilities, preparing you for future roles within employment. Senior Cadets within our organisation are given great responsibilities of supporting and training younger Cadets in many aspects of the Army Cadet syllabus.
  • Be More Challenged: Embrace physical and mental challenges that push your limits and help you discover your true potential. Whether that is during adventurous training, abseiling off cliffs or challenging yourself to learn advanced drill movements or gain promotions.
  • Be More Brave: Build courage by facing fears and taking on daring activities, reinforcing your ability to handle difficult situations confidently. Stepping outside of your comfort zone to share your experience and knowledge with other Cadets or staying away from home.
  • Be More Adventurous: Experience the thrill of outdoor adventures, from hiking and camping to Adventurous Training and beyond. The Army Cadets offer so many opportunities.
  • Be More Tactical: Learn essential strategic thinking and planning skills in the field and everyday life.
  • Be More Disciplined: Cultivate self-discipline through structured routines and expectations, instilling habits that lead to success. Changing your perception and understanding the self-discipline needed in life to get where you want to be.
  • Be More Creative: Unleash your creativity through various activities and projects that encourage innovative thinking and expression. The Army Cadets offer a range of creative options including marching bands, corps of drums and pipes and drumming. Which comes with many opportunities such as performing alongside the British Army at the Military Musical Spectacular in London.

Achieve the impossible

Above all, the Army Cadets encourage Cadets and adult volunteers to achieve things they never thought possible. They provide an environment that allows you to explore your interests, step out of the usual routines, and most importantly, to Be More You.
