ARMED FORCES DAY FLAG RAISING AND VETERANS’ LUNCH

The event starts with a traditional Armed Forces Day Flag Raising ceremony held in the public space outside the Town Hall on Navigation Yard in the presence of serving personnel from RAF Cranwell and RAF Digby, dignitaries, veterans, school pupils and members of the public – everyone is welcome. Light refreshments will be served and entertainment provided by school choirs.

This year the event will be followed by a Veterans’ Lunch held at North Kesteven District Council’s Civic Suite, a few steps away. Veterans’ Badges will be presented during the event. Details about ticket reservations for the lunch will be available nearer the time.
