Armed Forces Day – Proms in the park

Rushcliffe Borough Council marks Armed Forces Day, a nationwide celebration to honour the work of the British armed forces, past and present with a free open-air musical event

In 2018 Rushcliffe Armed Forces Day celebration will take place on Saturday 30 June 12pm-9pm in Bridgford Park, West Bridgford. There’ll be performances throughout the day from local singers and bands including leading up to the ‘last night of the proms’ concert at 7pm with Nottingham Concert Band. Proms is not just about the music though as we’ll also have lots of great displays from local community groups as well as free have-a-go sports activities to keep younger audience members occupied. ‌Around the park there will also be lots of family friendly attractions including a fairground and garden games. A licensed bar and various food outlets will be on site or you are welcome to bring your own picnic.

Parking for Proms in the Park is available on Bridge Field, Bridgford Road.
