Kimberley Freedom of Entry Parade

Kimberley will celebrate Armed Forces Day with a special military parade as soldiers and veterans from 170 (Infrastructure Support) Engineer Group march through the town centre.

Soldiers from the Group, based at Chetwynd Barracks in Chilwell will march through the town to exercise their Freedom of Entry to the Borough, along with veterans from the Royal Engineers Association.

Residents are urged to take to the streets to give a rousing welcome to its Army heroes during the parade.

Following the parade, a service to commemorate the end of the First World War will take place in Hall Om Wong Park.

As the route will be closed for the Parade there will be some traffic disruption.
