Leicester celebrates Armed Forces Day

There will be a service at Leicester Cathedral for Service Personnel, Veterans and Cadets. This will be followed by a parade of Standards, Service Personnel, Veterans, and Cadets behind the pipes and drums of the Seaforth Highlanders.

The parade will leave Jubilee Square at 11.40 a.m. and the Lord-Lieutenant and Lord mayor will take the Salute close to the Clock Tower. There will be a range of Armed Forces static displays in Humberstone Gate between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
