Festival of Talks: Lincolnshire Aviation in WW1
Adult Education in Horncastle is hosting a “Festival of Talks” on all things RAF. Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Horncastle continues on its well established and glorious journey alongside the RAF in Lincolnshire. Being well placed in the centre of the county the school has welcomed hundreds of air force children through its doors, and two “Old Boys” in the line-up are eminent speakers. Both the opening speaker, Len Sutton and the intrepid Lancaster pilot, Mike “The Chats” Chatterton will be back to celebrate QEGS Horncastle’s contribution to RAF100!
This talk will look at the use of Lincolnshire’s Aviation industry in WW1 and will be presented by Brian Riley from Aviation Heritage.
