Nottingham Sea Cadets Summer Cruise

Members of the public are being encouraged to take part in a water-based fundraising event to raise money to send Nottingham youngsters on a World War One battlefield tour.

Nottingham Sea Cadets are set to hold the fundraiser on board the Princess River Cruise and hope attendees will join them in enjoying a variety of music and dancing on board the ship as it sails from Park Yacht Club along the River Trent.

The event will take place on Saturday 30 July from 1.30pm-5pm and has been organised to raise extra funds to allow the youth group to visit Ypres and the Somme in France this October.
