Belper Detachment of Derbyshire ACF wins Best Detachment
Derbyshire ACF have awarded their coveted Lucas Tooth Trophy for the Best Detachment to Belper Detachment of C Company.
The Lucas Tooth is a shield that is competed for by every detachment in the county each year, from 01 April to 31 March. Detachments gain points for every Army Proficiency Certificate (APC) Star Level pass acheived, every cadet they recruit, every Duke of Edinburgh Award and BTEC gained as well as cadets representing the county in sports and shooting competitions. The points are then added up and the detachment with the most points wins.
Belper detachment gained a staggering 100 points this year and the staff and cadets should be applauded for their efforts.
This years top 3 results are shown below:
1st Place – Belper Detachment – C Company – 100 points
2nd Place – Chesterfield Detachment – B Company – 83 points
3rd Place – Hallcroft Detachment – C Company – 58 points
