It was another eventful weekend packed with competitions and training for Cadets throughout the East Midlands but it was an extra special weekend for the Air Cadets.

Sunday was a very important day for RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC), it was the 77th Air Cadet Sunday which is the Sunday closest to founding date of the Air Training Core, the predecessor to the RAFAC.

Air Cadets from Wellingborough and Rushden joined together in order to mark this special occasion with a parade through the streets of Rushden, joint activities between squadrons were a special way to celebrate this anniversary for other Air Cadets too.
